Mick Byrne 100/160/200

As Garret has posted elsewhere, the Mick Byrne is on next Sunday 29th May. In my view this is one of the most rewarding and challenging sportives of the year, with a distance to suit everyone. It's very well hosted by Sorrento, and will take you up and down roads you may have never seen before.

We want to get an idea of who's going to take part, and over what distance, so if you are planning to do it please reply here. Also if you haven't registered, then do so now as registration closes tomorrow Tuesday and there are no entries take on the day.

If people are wondering about how long it takes, last year, with the same 8:00 start time for the 200, a steady pace saw us back in Dalkey about 5.30-6pm. For those doing the the shorter distances, you should be home well before that, even with the later start times.

I've signed up for the 200 again this year.

Hi Diarmuid, I'm signed up for MB, as you said it is a great day out and a true challenge of every little and big climb in Wicklow, I've signed up for the 160km but if weather is good I could be persuaded to do the 200km!! See you in Dalkey - where the only flat section of the MB is coming out of the car park at the start!!!
