Good luck Lara! was created by Dave Mc
Best of luck to Lara Gillespie, who will be representing Ireland (and the Orwell!) in the European Youth Olympics this week, in Gyor, Hungary.
Her first race will be the Time Trial, sometime after 11:00 local time tomorrow, and then after a rest day Wednesday she will be competing in the Road Race on Thursday.
We are already fantastically proud of her for getting selected and making it this far, and any results or performances she will achieve from here will only be a bonus, so hopefully she makes the very most of the opportunity, luck goes her way and she has an absolutely fantastic experience!

A following up on her heroics in the TT, Lara has placed a very impressive 18th in the Road Race, coming in with the group that was sprinting for the win.
