If like me you haven't managed to keep cycling over the recents week or months and perhaps don't feel ready for the formal club Sunday spins. Here's an opportunity to ease back into regular cycles.
Starting on Saturday the 7th for the next couple of Saturdays there'll be shorter flat WHITE rusty spins to ease into 2023.
On 7th departing 9.30 am Dundrum with a spin to Phoenix Park depending on how many circuits of the park we do the length of spin would be 35km+.
Hopefully see you soon.
Future weeks, we shall cycle to Enniskerry, Malahide and similar.

This week the plan is Enniskerry. Depart at 9.30 a.m. from Dundrum SC carpark.
Dundrum to Enniskerry (return) is approximately 30km but at the Texaco garage try to do some hill repeats, stay right at garage downhill towards Church road and through village and climb up Monastery Road back to garage. Try 1, 2 or 3 repeats and have a well deserved coffee.

Leaving Dundrum at 09:30 to Howth. The plan is to include Howth Head on the way out, with a 'by pass' option if needed.
Cheers
Leonard

This spin is intended to get people back on track from a cycling layoff, all are welcome but the focus is on "sub" white pace with a view to graduating to the official club spins.

A weekly increase of 10km in the routes means this flat spin will cover 70km. Great progress and well done to everyone who has maintained attendance.
Huge thanks due to the leadership of Leonard Kaye
