Are you signed up to the club RWGPS facility? As a club member you're entitled to; I can't remember the details of how you do it, but I know it's simple (I did it when it was introduced by the splendid Joe Fitz).

Cycling activities can continue with some minor guidelines remaining in place:
- All club spins must be registered on the Cycling Ireland registration system.
- Social distancing and hygiene standards must be maintained
- Masks should be worn in crowded situations
- Protocols at coffee stops must be adhered to in line with the venues guidelines
- Members participating in spins should take personal responsibility
For Sunday Spins
The nominated dispatcher needs to record the name of each group leader, number of members in each group and remind the group leader to register the spin on the Cycling Ireland registration system. The names of the group leaders and group size numbers should be e-mailed by the dispatcher to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
Group leaders must register the date, spin details, and names of all members who participated in the club spin they lead and send confirmation email they receive from Cycling Ireland to

Do you have a link to the registration system you are referring to above?
I'm using ciclosed.eventmaster.ie/reservation.html but it only accepts registration for future events. I'm trying to register Sundays (21st) Orange cycle.
The link included in the help document here www.cyclingireland.ie/downloads/tracingapp-instructions.pdf is not working.
Thanks
Paul

As you say - this link should allow you create an event
ciclosed.eventmaster.ie/reservation.html
You are probably supposed to register people on (or before) the day.
In the spirit of malicious compliance I would suggest you use the first date available
If we have to contact trace we will know it was a Sunday spin - and work back to 21st.
Regards
Joe

(to give us an idea of numbers please RSVP on RWGPS for this Sunday only)
Red will decide their own route (will be added to the event later)
Orange have an 80km route to Kilcock via Rathcoole & Celbridge. Home through Lucan.
(with < 500m ascent enthusiastic Yellows could ride this)
Yellow & White have a 77km spin to Sallins via Newcastle and home by Rathcoole
(again just 500m ascent so enthusiastic Whites might go with later Yellow groups)
Tom Gurrie is rostered to lead Yellow group. Joe Wheatley is down for White
(we are likely to need more. Please reach out to me if you haven't lead a group yet this year)

There's no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing.
The routes stay low, so should be OK - but leaders should be prepared to vary them as required.
The Yellow/White route to Sallins is designed with a simple shortening option:
At 24.5km stay straight on the L60001
Pickup the route again near the N7
Then get coffee in Rathcoole (33km)
Shortens the route to about 54km

Red route will be added to the event later.
The Orange plan is 88km out via Embankment, Brittas, Lacken, Valleymount. Coffee at Russborough or Blessington and home. (This route would suit climacophobic Yellows).
Following last week’s flat spin, This week Yellow & White have a bit of ascent. 71km via Enniskerry and Old Long Hill to Roundwood. Then across to NMK, Greystones and home. Coffee at NewtownMountKennedy (or Roundwood and straight home for a slightly shorter version)
