Tuesday cycle

Due to weather conditions the Tuesday cycle will once again move to Wednesday.

Same details as the previous post but we now meet on Wednesday in the old Dundrum Shopping centre car park and roll out at 9:30am.

The roads around Dundrum have black ice so I am delaying the start of the cycle until 11:00am.

Same start location Dundrum car park.

This week coffee will be in Celbridge.

We will meet on Tuesday at the Yellow House and roll out at 9:30am.

Expect to cover 81km and and around 850m of elevation.

This weeks it's Maynooth for coffee and pancakes.

Meet on Tuesday at the Yellow house and we will roll out at 9:30am.

This will be 74k with 300m of elevation

This week it's Ashford for coffee.

Meet at Lamb's Cross on Tuesday and be ready to roll out at 9:30am

This week it’s Sallins for coffee.

We meet in Tuesday at the Yellow House and roll out at 9:30am

Expect to do 70k plus 450m if elevation.

COVID-19 Notice.

Given current precautions being taken on this Island Quanta-Scott Orwell Wheelers Cycling Club is CANCELLING all activities until the 31st of March. This sadly includes all club rides including the Tuesday spins, Corkagh Park Youth training, upcoming socials and all club activities generally.

We will continue to take lead from the Health Officials. The on going status of club activities and events will be reviewed in the lead up to the March 31st date.

This is an unprecedented action for unprecedented times and is motivated by preserving the health & wellness of our club members, family and friends. We strongly advice all our members to follow our Health Authority for all advice to protect your family, friends and community.

Folks,
We are back and ready to cycle again as a Club. There are a few steps you must take before you re-join any Club cycles.
Step 1: Read the email sent to you by Fergal O'Sullivan this weekend.

Step2: Ensure you have completed the Eventbrite registration. You will need your Club number during this process. Your number can be found on the bottom part of Fergal's email. Remember if you do not complete the Eventbrite registration you cannot cycle with any Club group

Once these steps are completed you are ready to cycle.

This week our cycle will take place on Wednesday 8th July. The change in day is due to bad weather being forcast for Tuesday. We are heading to Russborough House for coffee.

We will meet in the Old Dundrum Shopping centre and roll out at 9:30am.

This is expected to be mid 70k with just under 700m of climbing.

We have an option on the way back to do the hill in Howth.

Expect this cycle to be close to 74K with over 300m of elevation.

This is a fast Yellow cycle.

Expect to cover 70k cycle with close to 600m of climbing.

This week it's Wicklow Town for coffee.

Meet on Tuesday at Lambs Cross and be ready to roll out at 9:30am.

Weather looks dry with southerly winds.
