Inter Club League 2023, Round 12, Club Road Race Championships, July 1

The next round of the club league is coming around tomorrow, Saturday 1st of July. This will be the club road race championships, which means that there will be medals up for grabs for the top Orwell finishers.

- This will be a handicapped race around the Newbridge GP circuit with the finish line at the quarry on Boston Hill: www.strava.com/segments/971310

Sign on open from 9:30 with race start at 10:00. Handicap will be determined by group numbers. There will be 4 laps in total. For those who haven't done the club champs before, it is different than other races in that there are sign on points but there are no placement points.

The first over the finish line for each club is this year's club champion for their club. You are only racing your clubmates inside of the race. So keep an eye out for who in your club is in the groups in front of you.

We will award medals for:

• Overall Men's
• Overall Women's
• Veteran Men's
• Veteran Women's
• Youth Men's
• Youth Women's

To qualify as a medal event, two or more riders in each category must enter. You can be eligible for medals in two categories, e.g. medaling in the overall competition won't preclude you from medaling in Youth or Vets.

Marshals are asked to be there at 9:40 to give them time to get to their positions.
