Inter Club League 2023, Round 6, 10 Mile TT, May 25th

This weeks round of the league is the 10 mile TT, which will also serve as the club 10 mile TT championships, one of four medal events we're running as part of the league. That means that, aside from league points for each handicap group, there's also medals to be won. This year we'll be broadening the number of medals on offer. I'll be awarding medals for:

• Overall Men's
• Overall Women's
• Veteran Men's
• Veteran Women's
• Youth Men's
• Youth Women's

To qualify as a medal event, two or more riders in each category must enter. You can be eligible for medals in two categories, e.g. medaling in the overall competition won't preclude you from medaling in Youth or Vets.

Sign on will open at around 6:45, First rider off at 7:30 (note the slightly later start time because of the distance from Dublin)

Please bear in mind that you will be racing on open roads and the rules of the road will apply. Aero bikes and equipment are allowed, and no drafting. If you catch another rider (good for you!) check that there is no traffic coming up behind you before pulling out, and give them loads of room as you pass. Remember they may have no notion that you're steaming through until you have actually passed them. On the other hand, if you are caught, keep on going at your own pace, don't be tempted to try sit on to the rider who has passed you.

Please don't hassle the timekeepers for your time- there's no problem asking, but make sure to do it at a time when there aren't any riders coming in.
