Inter Club League 2023, Round 3, Hill Climb TT, 27th April was created by Dick O'Brien
This week's round of the Inter Club League is the Hill Climb TT, which will be run on the climb between Stepaside and Glencullen:
www.strava.com/routes/3076645263619937892
Sign on will close at 6:55. First rider off at 7:01, with a rider off every minute after. Points are on offer for the fastest six people in each handicap group.
Glencullen Pitch and Putt at the finish line have very nicely allowed us to park there but the sign on is beside the Centra at the start line so we recommend cycling out but, if you have to drive, park at Glencullen Pitch and Putt. There is little or no parking in Stepaside.
Marshals for the night are: Brian Hammond, Ronan Killeen, Jonathan Coffey, Pat Beere and Cahir O' Higgins.
This race also serves as the Orwell Hill Climb Championships. That means that there are also medals up for grabs. Like last year, I'll be awarding medals for:
Since this is a championship event, this means it's one of four league races where your points won't be deducted at the end of the season if they're part of your worst five results.

Start times are allocated at sign on. So if you want to go off early be sure to be there around 18:45.
The pre-sign on thing is a thing only Orwell did.
