Noel and Kieran Hammond memorial on RGT, 28th June.

Following on from the success of our virtual edition of the Stephen Roche Grand Prix we will be running this weekends Noel and Kieran Hammond memorials on Magic roads on RGT.

As our original time and date clashes with CIs Saturday morning Zwift race we are moving to Sunday morning, 9:30 am start, running as a mass start road race.

Congratulations to Neal Hudson who took the win in the Virtual Noel & Kieran Hammond Memorial race this morning.

Second place was Aidan McDonnell, closely followed by race organiser Dave Mc and rounding out 4th place was Fergal Quinn

Well done to all who raced, see you next year for a return to the real world (we hope!)

Thanks for organising Dave. It was Elise's first online race and she really enjoyed it. Unfortunately the server dropped out on her with about 3.5km to go and although we saw your message of encouragement we couldn't respond back. So just wanted to let you know thanks for the support and we weren't ignoring you! She completed the race about 10 mins later. Congrats to everyone who took part today and hopefully see you all on the road next time.

A big thanks to Dave Mac for putting this on and the club supporting it. Myself and my family really appreciate it and for keeping the memory of Kieran and Noel alive who would have loved the idea of keeping a race on the go in tough times like this.
