2020 CX National Championships Enniscrone

MUD - one word that describes the conditions on day 1 at the National Cyclocross Championships today! It looks like there was a lot of running for our youths and a lot of mucky, smiling faces at the end of the day.

Day 1 saw the U14 and U16 races and great results considering most of our riders are first year in their age categories having just moved up from the younger age groups.

U16 Girls:
1. Annie Roche - now Scott Quanta Racing but still part of the Orwell family;)
3. Katie Reilly - a great result for the 1st year under 16 rider!

Best of luck to all our seniors who are racing tomorrow, the Commissionaires have already altered the course because of the mud to make it more rideable and we have our fingers crossed that some of the course will have dried out by the starts!
