Was not feeling good all week and felt ominous before the start...blew before the (first!) bridge.
Terrible let down for my team but well done to you for soldiering on.

Pat O'Brien is cemented as league winner, as he has been for some time. Yours truly is in the silver spot after adjustments, with Eric in 3rd. If he's doing CX next week, he'll be looking for a miracle to take 2nd. Fionn is in 4th, and could well leapfrog Eric before the close. And in 5th is a young Conor Murnane, who could overtake Fionn still - it's all very tight.
1 Patrick O'Brien 188
2 Brian McArdle 156
3 Eric Downey 144
4 Fionn Sheridan 140
5 Conor Murnane 137
6 Liam Rowsome 128
7 David Swift 120
8 Bryan Geary 117
9 David Maher 116
10 Dick O'Brien 113

Well done on the numbers Dave, have you considered becoming an Actuary?
I agree with Eddie - it keeps everyone interested.

If kept then hopefully the system encourages greater participation once everyone realises they have a genuinely decent shot at a placing. And every rider at every level will get some benefit from the experience of riding that course on the raggedy edge of their ability!
Thanks to the lads on our team last night. While predictably we were no match for the favourites it wasn't for the lack effort! Thanks for the curious pleasure of shared total destruction!
