Update on 2024 Internal Sportive

Please note that there are separate tickets needed for the Sportive and for the BBQ…so if you plan to do both, you will need to buy both tickets! The venue for the Evening BBQ is the Lansdowne Tennis Club, Londonbridge Road, Dublin 4, D04 X0E8 and we kick-off at 7.30pm.

There are three routes for this years internal sportive: 100km, 150km and 200km and we will all be having lunch at The N11 in Ashford. To view the routes, you can copy (and then paste) the relevent URL from the below list:

*Internal Sportive Update*

Dear All, below are the routes for this year’s internal sportive. Our first official stop will be at The N11 at the Ashford House where Breakfast Baps / Scones will be served.

Mike Hayden and his family have again volunteered to manage the second stop, this will be in Hollywood, at about 100km in on the 150 route and 145km in on the 200 route.

*For those of you who have not booked yet - can you please do so NOW please as we really need to start finalising the groups etc.*

*Internal Sportive - Important Info:*

The final lists of groups will be sent to your leaders later today.

Prizes for this Saturday’s Sportive will include “Most Interesting Photo”, “Most Helpful, Considerate, Caring Group Member”, “Best Socks Shot”, “Best Group Photo” and at the BBQ, a prize will be given for the “Best Taylor Swift Outfit”.

And we might just find a few “novelty prizes” for other note-worthy moments!

As this is our internal sportive, we would encourage all members to wear their Orwell gear.

The “bells” will be distributed at your breakfast / lunch stop at the The N11 in Ashford.

*Very Important:* Because of the Taylor Swift concert at the Aviva, many roads will be closed near the Lansdowne Tennis Cub. We therefore suggest that you do NOT drive to the venue! You could cycle or take a lift/taxi/public transport and it would just be a short walk to the club, which is on Londonbridge Road.

Also please note that Lansdowne Tennis Club is a *cashless venue.*

07.30 - 200 Orange

08.15 - 150 Orange

08.30 - 150 White

08.30 - 150 Yellow (Non-Early Start, dependent on numbers)

08.45 - 100 Yellow

09.15 - 100 White
