Orwell Leisure WhatsApp Group was created by Joe Fitzpatrick
WhatsApp has increased the number of people allowed in a single group
Therefore we have have merged the WhatsApp Groups
Orwell Leisure & 2 Orwell Leisure
The objective is to improve communications around Orwell Leisure Cycling topics.
This could be difficult in a large group with 340 members.
Going forward I would ask everyone to consider the following

Keep to the purpose of the group - Orwell Leisure Cycling.
Avoid one-to-one conversations in the main group.
(Switch to private messages when appropriate)
If a message asks for a positive response like an RSVP, don’t reply in the negative. Only say if you are able to attend.
If you feel gratitude towards someone – consider sending them a private message.
Never post anything that a reasonable person would think injures another persons reputation.
Never use the group to berate someone else or air grievances. If you have an issue - address it one on one with that person.
Don’t send data-insensitive messages. No-one wants their last 3GB used up by uninvited photos (or a €1000 roaming bill).
If you are not sure, ask yourself these three questions before you post:
* Is this relevant?
* Is this necessary?
* Is this a good time to post?
