June Bank Holiday - Orwell TKAS weekend - May 29 to June 1 was created by Shane Phelan
Hi all,
Preparations are underway for the annual Orwell TKAS trip to Kerry - two great days of incredible cycling and socialising over the June Bank Holiday weekend.
The routes are the same as those created for the two-day 'The Kingdom Alliance Sportive', which is unfortunately now defunct. The official event may be no more, but large numbers of Orwells have kept its spirit alive in recent years.
Both days are equally beautiful and you'll struggle to get two more scenic spins anywhere in the world. The weekend is also the perfect tune-up for anyone doing the Wicklow 200, Orwell Sportive, Dragon Ride, Etape du Tour, Marmotte or Dolomites trips this summer.
All are welcome.
When: June Bank Holiday Weekend Friday, May 29th to Monday, June 1st. Travel down Friday evening, cycle Saturday and Sunday. Travel home Monday.
Where: Tralee, Co Kerry
Why: 2 days of cycling
