Giants Causeway Sportive

Are there many Orwell members doing the Giants Causeway this year?

Also is there any interest in booking a restaurant for us to eat in as a group on the Saturday night post-event? We did this last year and it worked out really well. I have made some enquiries with Central Wine bar (same place as last year) and they have space. They also have a set menu for group bookings which we can use (attached)

I just need to get back to them with the total number and what your pre-order is so reply here if you want in.

I’ll probably be there for dinner too depending on the time. For what time have you booked Colm?

Restaurant is booked for 8pm Seamus.

Not sure how many from Orwell are doing it in total but more than 20 anyway I'd guess. I'd say it will be mainly steady yellows but I don't know how it will break down between those wanting to do long, medium and short so probably a good idea for us all to rendezvous at a certain point and time and join our separate groups?

Anyone doing the long route will probably start quite early. The 130km route starts at 9 so maybe those doing that could congregate at the start by 08.30 and see
what groups are sensible to form?
