The Hi5 Pledge was created by Ken Moloney
The Leisure committee are introducing a number of new initiatives for 2018 including the "Hi5 Pledge".

The pledge is a bit of fun whose objective is to encourage more members to engage with and contribute to the considerable work the club does.

It also provides an opportunity to give something back.

Keep an eye on the forum for more details coming soon.

On behalf of the Leisure committee.

At last month's launch the Leisure committee introduced a new initiative called the Hi5 Pledge.

The pledge is a bit of fun whose objective is to encourage more members to engage with and contribute to the considerable work the club does.

It also provides an opportunity to give something back.

The pledge works as follows:
- sign up before the end of April by clicking on the link below
(this form will also appear on the club homepage in the coming days);
- select 5 ways you'd like to contribute;
- as you work through your 5 items, register their completion
(a new form to do so will appear in the coming weeks);
- register any item completed between Sep 17 and Aug 18 even if
it's not part of your original selection;
- during the year we'll publish a rolling list of members who completed.

Like all new initiatives, we'll review how this one has gone toward the end of the year.

Have fun.

On behalf of the Leisure committee.

Hi all

Many of you have signed up to our new initiative - the Hi5 Pledge .

It's a bit of fun aimed at encouraging more members to engage with and contribute to the considerable and varied work the club does.

If you haven't signed up, it's not too late - check out the posts further up the thread.

For those already in - you selected 5 ways you wanted to contribute.
You received an email recording your selection.

Each time you complete 1 of your 5 items (or any 5 even if different from your original selection) you can update the linked form - Hi5 Pledge - Log your Hi5 completions .
Or if you wish, update the 5 completions in one go.

For many already signed up, helping out with the recent and very successfully run Orwell randonée provides an opportunity to get the ball rolling.

Any contribution from the form's list which happens between September 2017 and August 2018 can be registered.

During the year we'll publish a rolling list of members who signed up to and completed a Hi5.

There's lots of ways to conributte and we'll be encouraging those who need help with events etc to use this space to source assistance and simultaneously provide you with an opportunity to fulfil your commitment.

Lots of luck and thanks in advance!

On behalf of the Leisure committee.

a link to the form to log your completions now sits in the Files section of the club homepage.
Use it as you go or at the end.
Thanks to Louise for that.
