The idea would be to do a four day spin on the Wild Atlantic Way around the May bank holiday weekend in 2018. The spin would start in Tralee and end in Westport. This would entail four days of cycling with around 120km of cycling each day. The stops would be in (near) Lahinch, Galway and Clifden.
The idea would be to do the trip at a Yellow pace but that can be adjusted depending on who is interested.
If you feel you might be interested in four days on the Wild Atlantic Way in May just reply to this forum post. If there is enough interest we can proceed to confirm dates and figure out costs.

The Orwell Randonee will be held on the May Bank Holiday weekend so we will not schedule for then. The weekends either before or after that would be good options - starting Thursday 26th April or Thursday 10th May. We will avoid selecting dates when the club van is needed for racing so we should wait to see the 2018 racing calendar before deciding. The 2018 calendar will come available in October.
So we will pick this up again in October, watch this space.

Wednesday 9th Tralee
Thursday 10th Lahinch
Friday 11th Galway
Saturday 12th Clifden
The distance each day will be about 120km, depending on the accommodation.
We will be able to transport 10 to 12 bikes to and from the west in the van. It should be possible to support more riders if they can transport their own bikes. We need some riders willing to drive the van for a stage - unless we can find an angel willing to drive support from Tralee to Westport.
I could use some help booking the accommodation, especially if you have suggestions around these locations. If you want to influence the choice on the spectrum between hostel and 5 star hotel it would be good to be involved.
It would also be great to have some help planning the details of the route.
