Tour of Lough Derg

I'm planning to do the Tour of Lough Derg on Sunday May 14th. I did it last year and enjoyed it a lot. It's 140 km around the lake starting in Ballina Killaloe. It is fairly flat for half way to the main food stop in Portumna Forest Park and rolly with short sharp hills on the way back with scenic views over the lake.
It is very well organised, good food along the way and food and showers available at the end. Start is at 09.30 and registration is on the morning so it is possible to do it as a day trip.
