I see on the "official" thread that they are calling us Old School Orwell. Is this a compliment or a slagging ? Does this mean we have a minimum age policy i.e. no young (fast/skinny) fellas allowed ? Anyway, they'd only be bored silly with our banter about LP's, Chopper Bikes, remembering when there was no internet, aren't the guards/teachers very young these days ... blah blah blah

The 'old school' reference was in reference to anyone who has done the w200 before and has no reference to age....although coincidentally a lot of us are aul fellas too:-) a few aul wans too:-)
Hoping we cross paths on the day!

If you have laces in your cycling shoes you are definitely old school!

Likewise thanks to Andrew& all the Free Loaders train for the company and craic out on the spin today...and especially for not lying to me every time I asked 'is this the last hill...';)
Also kudos to the orwell van& car.
Particular kudos to Lucy who so selflessly gave up her spin to help that poor woman. Hope she makes a good recovery& wasn't too upsetting Lucy.

Thanks to Andrew and the rest of the " Freeloader " team for dragging me around the hill of Wicklow . The banter and support made what was a hard spin a lot more enjoyable .
Also thanks to the guys in the support cars , the water at the top of the of the Shay Elliott was much appreciated .

Also wish to add my thanks to all for a great day out on the torturous uphills and exhilarating downhills in Wicklow.
Fab idea Andrew getting a freelancers/freeloaders group together.

Thanks Andrew. Great group & we stuck together & even picked up a few stragglers into our peloton. Colm & the guys in the support car were a great help with supplies on top of the climbs. When's the next freeloaders outing ?
