Appeal for funds - Ukrainian Bike Project

 


 

Just reaching out with a request for funds to enable the Bikes for Ukrainian refugees to continue.
Orwell members have been very generous in donating 91 bikes so far.

Joe Daly management continues to service bikes FOC and supply parts at cost price.

In the last 7 days, we delivered 11 bikes.

And now we had an order book for:

• 7 ladies
• 6 gents and 
• 4 teenager bikes. 

The good news is we have the bikes; however, our purse is empty.  So, we cannot supply helmets and locks with serviced bikes.

Two days ago I sent out an appeal for funds for the Ukrainian Bike Project.
I'm very very moved by the generosity of our club members.
I can tell you that the people I met today in UCD are also very moved by the kindness shown by Orwell club members and Joe Daly's staff.

A selection of people I met yesterday in UCD all looking for bikes, which included a 3-wheeler for the little girl,
