Orwell Wheelers Cyling Club, Person of the Year Award 2020.
Well, congratulations to the two very worthy recipients of the awards which were delayed for obvious reasons.
First up its Barry Redmond for all the work done getting us through the first few lockdowns and keeping up spinning virtually. The trophy is presented by our club President Denis Gleeson.
The newly inaugurated “Joe Daly Trophy” for Junior club person of the year was presented to Andrew Ryan for all his work in regard to the Stephen Roche Grand Prix in 2020. He receives his prize from that Orwell legend himself David “Docket” Tansey.
