Yes, we do have a prize for that actually. You'll hear about it at the Christmas party.Well done to DaveMc & Denis for getting such a huge group off to a safe start this morning, particularly with so many first timers.

suits me anyway if it suits eric :)
Hi Sandra, there's a cross race on the 28th too but I'll commit to doing the 28th if I can't swap with someone else and you do the 14th, that ok?
I'm not trying to be difficult, just trying to justify buying the cyclocross bike by doing a few races - there's only 4! So if anyone would like to swap Oct 28th and/or Nov 25th for a Sunday after Christmas, I'd really appreciate it.
How did this get so complicated? :) I'll swap with Sandra, and Eric, you swap with Declan, and then find someone to swap his date that you can't do. It's in December, so lots of time to find a replacement. Or just buy Dec a pint and get him to do it anyway! :)
Very clever, that ok Declan?

I am not available for the November 4 spin. Anybody OK to swap?
I can do Nov 11, 18 - Dec 2 and 16 and January 6 and 20 onward.
Cheers

I can do that date for you - I'm not down to do any groups, so you don't need to cover for me.
I was on holiday when Denis was looking for volunteers - so happy to help out!

Due to a broken collarbone today (MTB - serves me right), I'm screwed as regards my white spin duties on Sun October 28th. Happily Ken McCullagh has already kindly agreed to step into the breach, and I'll cover his Dec 16th slot (optimistic to a fault, me).
Ouch! Hard luck Owen. Your OH has two to look after all of a sudden... Get well soon!

(The fact that on the 15th Leinster are playing Clermont in Lansdowne road in the HC and I'd possibly be a little under the weather on the 16th, never crossed my mind either!)
Also, I did offer Owen this link , which I thought was particularly useful, although why it appears on *that* website I'm not sure. Anyway, he claims not to be able to use the computer with the one hand and has thus not been able to learn how. (Oh and he told me not to scupper his plans)
Get well soon Owen!

Couldn't sort out a swap for my lead on Sunday. My apologies to those I'm leaning on but I'll try and make it up by filling in where I can another time : (

Arthur Ebbs chose some gloriously muddy lanes on the way back that had us looking like we'd done a whole season of Belgian cyclo cross.
Very enjoyable spin. I'll wash the bike tomorrow.

If I can't arrange a swap, if someone in the club wants to try out cyclocross, they can borrow my bike (56cm). The race is in St Anne's park which is supposed to be a good course. Likewise for the Portmarnock race and the Nationals in Dundalk, I won't be racing either of those.
