Has anyone passed old long hill since last weekend? I’m wondering are the chippings still very loose for ascending? I still can’t understand why they put chipping there, I thought that surface was pretty good.
I’m wondering if it’s still best to avoid it or not? Thanks!

There was still chippings on the lower end of the hill on Wednesday morning. Traffic has pushed them into lines so there is clear routes through. I wouldn't have any problem ascending but would need to be very careful descending

I was descending Saturday by Djouce and I think the chippings began as soon as the road levelled out there so I turned left and went down by the wall to avoid descending further on the chippings.

Went up yesterday, still a lot of gravel and loose chippings along the descent, especially on the corner. Would recommending avoiding the descent, fine to ascend.
