This year myself, Jules De Meester, and Joe Fitzpatrick are coordinating the Winter Spins having been ably led by Stephen Ryan for the last few years. The first spin is due to take place on Sunday the 23rd of October and the White, Yellow, Orange & Red groups will prevail again, and ye never know the beige group might make an appearance again.
This message is a call for volunteers as usual to act as leaders, minders, and dispatchers for the spin programme which will run from October to early April. The groups being catered for will be the beginner whites, whites and yellow.
So please sign up to help as the Winter spins programme is a great way to keep fit during the the cold winter months, and is the main area of activity for the club and as always a great Orwell welcome for new members who join the club.
An information night will be held at Ballinteer Community School on Monday the 26th of September to give everyone an idea of what is involved in leading a group safely over the winter months.
So please indicate here on the forum if you are ready to step up and lead your fellow members, and even better if you let us know that you are available to do a few, if that eventuality arises. There will be a facility on the forum to swap dates after the schedule is published.
Regards.

These are vital for the safe introduction of new members to the club. They are also a great way to get through cold, wet, Winter days in the company of like minded lunatics.
Put me down to help in any capacity.
