3 Scott Orwell women on the Leinster Team for the Spar Tour of Omagh!

This weekend sees 3 Scott Orwell women racing on the Leinster team in the Spar Tour of Omagh!

Yvonne Doran, Aaron Fox and Monica Freiband have all been selected to race for the province.

We wish the team and especially our racers the best of luck - we cant wait to see you in the blue jersey.

For those wishing to follow the race there are 4 stages over 3 days.

Great start by our Scott Orwell Leinster women tonight in Stage 1 of the Spar Tour of Omagh!

Yvonne finished in 7th in the leading group, finishing on the same time as the leader.

Aaron finished in 31st just 7:36 behind and Monica in 35th on 11:01

Tomorrow is a 2 stage day with a TT in the morning.
Yvonne is off at 11:02, Aaron at 11:03 and Monica at 11:04

The final stage starts at 10am tomorrow morning and we expect fireworks with the leading 7 riders all within 36 seconds of the leader Claffey!

Stage 4 of the Spar Tour of Omagh saw a breakaway win for Laura Wylie of Cycling Ulster. Yvonne Doran was first of our riders home in 15th place only 1min 43 seconds behind.

Aaron Fox had one of her best placings of the weekend when she finished 26th, 5mins 53seconds behind the winner. Monica Freiband was next home in 29th on 7mins 38seconds.
