I was contacted today by the women organising this interesting conference:

#WePlay Conference Inspiring Women in Sport is running again this year. All women in sports are welcome to this incredible event.

The conference is on Wednesday July 3rd at the National Indoor Arena, and will benefit women of ALL AGES involved in ANY SPORT. We believe the topics being discussed demand the attention of every female athlete in Ireland and will not only benefit athletes, but also coaches, parents and supporters.

The theme of the conference is "Proud To Be Me" focusing on getting the most out of your sport and being confident in your body. The day involves a mix of panel discussions with experts working in sport and elite athletes.
Panel discussions such as “Balancing Life as an Athlete”, “In The Face of Adversity”, “The Un-Comfort Zone” & “Off The Pitch” will be discussed. A broad range of sports will be represented with athletes including Jenny Egan (Canoeing), Nicole Drought (Motor Racing), Caradh O’Donovan (Karate), Roisin Baker (Water Polo & Dublin Camogie), Laura Twomey (Dublin Camogie & 20x20 Ambassador), Chloe Magee (Badminton), Mona McSharry (Swimming), Nina Carberry (Horse Racing), Eve McCrystal (Cycling) and Sene Naoupu (Rugby) all in attendance to share their experiences.

Attendees will have an opportunity to meet all of our sport stars for photos and autographs, as well as receiving a #WePlay T-shirt and a hot lunch.
