Crit. League 2012 Results

Thanks to all who came out to support and/or help tonight, and fair play to all of the women who took part in fairly harsh conditions. For the first time ever I was having to wipe snow off the face of the stopwatch to read the times for some of the middle riders!

43 women and girls raced tonight, representing 17 different clubs from places as far afield as Dundalk, Mullingar, Tullamore and Arklow, and quite a few of those were there for their first ever cycle race.

We were delighted to have international riders of the class of Mel Spath and Fran Meehan there to set the standard for our own riders to aspire to, and even more so to see our own riders who started here like Anne and Charlotte continuing to improve and moving steadily closer to the top of the table almost every time they race.
