Crit. League marshalls 2012

The 2012 edition of the Women's crit. league will be kicking off next week, and once again we will be looking for marshals to make this work. The previous two years we have had great support from a number of the guys, and it has really helped to make the league a success.

The dates we will be using are the 10th, 17th and 24th of April; 1st, 8th, and 15th of May. You will be needed from approx 6.45pm to 8.15pm & all marshals will be fed and watered! We are fairly well covered for the first night, but all help will be welcomed for the other five dates.

If you can help on any of the evenings please let us know, with your preferred dates if any.

I'll be there most of the Sandyford nights. I'd encourage anyone else to come along, to help or if you happen to be passing just to watch for a while. It's great fun, you get to see the racing far more than at a road race, and the food is top notch.

And as I think I've said before, it's the only time in the year when I get to shout at women in the street and not get arrested.

We need more bodies to help out with marshalling for the 3rd Rd of the Ladies Crit League in Sandyford Industrial Estate this evening 24th April from 7pm- all helpers will be rewarded with action-packed racing & Jen's fine soup, sandwiches & cakes!
