It was another windy night for round 4 of the Boot Inn League, which was a 10-mile time trial. Joanne O'Shea took charge of running the event with Gary McElroy out to lend a hand. Thanks to the marshals – Dave McLoughlin, Michelle Geoghegan, Jimmy Lally and Sean Lally – and to the paparazzo, Brendan Culleton.

The fastest time was from Heather Boyle (Ravens). A close second came from the deadly duo on the tandem – Joanna Hickey and Catherine Walsh. And in practically joint third (separated by .02 of a second) were Caroline Ryan (Garda CC) and Jenn O'Reilly (Ravens).

However, the Boot Inn is a beginner league and therefore handicapped. So, to even things up, minutes were added on to riders from Semi-Limit up: 4 minutes to Scratch; 2 to Semi-Scratch and 1 to Semi-Limit. Quite a lot of girls had improved on their times from the first night and there were a good few new faces last night, too. With the adjusted times, Orla McEvoy from Bray Wheelers took first place.
