Starting with LEISURE again this week:

There are no leinster based sportives this weekend but if you fancy heading off to Ulster or Munster there are plenty to keep you busy! Remember the Cycling Ireland website has lots of information on what is coming up. The Sportive/Leisure calender is here - http://www.cyclingireland.ie/page/events/events-calendar/leisure-sportive-events

The various training groups are in full swing now and all report that great progress is being made.

Remember the Orwell Randonnee is next Saturday the 5th of May. They are still looking for volunteers to help out. If you are available and want to give something back to the club then check out Orwell Randonnee Call for Volunteers

Leisure Training:

The leisure committee have added Aidan Hammonds  Wicklow 100 and 200 training plans to the Club Website. Aidan outlined these at the recent launch night . They allow you personalize your plans using your maximum and resting heart rates. The plan runs from this week up to the www events in June . They are a fantastic daily and weekly plan. You can access these at Wicklow 100 & 200 Training Plans

Photo Competition:

The Leisure Committee has also organised a new photo competition. We hope to capture photos of Scott-Orwell Wheelers C.C. activities in this our 70th. anniversary year. Most modern mobile phones have a camera, which means photos can be taken in an informal and quick way.

Information on how to enter you photos in the competition will be available soon but for now keep snapping! Remember photo of bikes and/or people in Orwell gear are always welcome
