Tour de Connemara registration now open! was created by Colm Egan
Anyone planning ahead for The year please note that registration is now open for the tour de Connemara tourdeconamara.ie/events/tour-de-conamara-2016/ and if you are planning staging in the clifden house hotel (recommended) they are almost sold out of rooms as of today! Enjoy.

I have registered for this as it is a great event and as long as the weather is good it is a very nice part of the country to cycle around.

Colm, Hotel booked - I think I could be the one drafting behind you.

For people who are going to this are you interested in meeting up on the Saturday evening for a meal and drinks.
As the place will be really busy it is best to book a place in advance - if you are interested can you let me know and I will see if we can book a table for some place.

John: I'm doing the 140 and have talked one of the lads from work into doing it as well - hoping to average about 24 - 25 for it, if that pace is good with you then we could travel as a group - we will always pick up more Orwell riders.

Myself and Michael Staines are doing the 140 and interested in meeting up Fri evening and Saturday morning.
Does anyone know of accommodation going in or near Clifden? Myself and Michael have booked a place but not nearby. Shauna's offer does not suit as she is trying to get a taker for the entry and the b&B.

Eugene I've taken up Shauna's offer of a ticket for this and I will be heading back Saturday evening as I'll be doing the Mick Byrne the next day too. If Andrew doesn't make it down you are more than welcome to a lift back with me.
I'd also like to take up Shauna's offer of a twin b&b room if I can get someone to share? It's 35 euro each for the Friday night and the b&b is 2-3km outside Clifden on the Dublin side. If anyone is interested let me know here.
