The session will take place on Sunday the 21st. Time TBC (10am likely time). The cost for the session is €100 for up to 10 people and €5 per person after that. This includes bike rental. The more people attending the cheaper the cost for everyone.
If interested just reply to this thread. There are only 20 places available

Do we need to bring our own pedals?
If not, what sort of pedals are on the bikes?

Shane, the bikes use Look Keo pedals or flat pedals with toe straps. The pedals on the rental bikes cannot be changed. There are also shoes available to use at the track that are compatible with Look Keo.
Currently three people would be insufficient for the session, unless you are all willing to pay €33 each. Try to spread the word if you can. Non orwell members are welcome to join too to bring up the numbers and reduce the cost per person.

I'll bow to the majority though...early starts on Sundays aren't always that popular!!

That is a pity. Thought there would be more interest, especially so close to the Olympics.
Will hopefully give it a go on October

In my attempt to get maximum publicity for the Orwell Champs, there are now 3 separate threads on different Forum headings. Not sure if I can manage to squeeze a thread into Leisure or Spins, but Youth is my next target!!

My brother is interested in trying out track. He is not a member of Orwell (yet) but is it possible put his name down for an accreditation spot tomorrow too? Alan Walsh.
Cheers.

This might be a stupid question, but where is the location of this? I'd like to give it a go, but just trying to get out of other commitments at the minute...
