Congratulations to Aurora Perez Machio whose design for a new Orwell logo was selected by a resounding majority at the AGM on Tuesday evening.

Eddie Lynch has been returned as club president for a third year following the selection of the officers and committee at the club AGM on Tuesday evening.

The current club kit design will be retained for the next three years following a vote at the club AGM in Milltown Institute on Tuesday evening.

The Club Clothing sub-committee has announced the final five designs from which the 2011 club kit will be selected at tomorrow night’s AGM.

Forms must be downloaded and filled out correctly to be counted during the AGM.

In conjunction with the imminent creation of a new design for club clothing it has been decided that a fresh new logo will also be adopted for the new kit, the website and all club correspondence.

The Annual General Meeting of the club will take place next Tuesday 5th October at 7.30pm in the Milltown Institute. As well as the usual business of reviewing the year’s activities and electing the officers and committee the members will also have the opportunity to vote on the new club clothing design for 2011.

Senior and youth Orwell riders scored well in the Leinster Cycling Championships at Sundrive Road last weekend.

The Orwell Youth squad added to their impressive collection of top results when they scooped the overall team honours in the Murphy and Gunne Youth Club League which concluded recently.
