    Ronan Grimes has won a BRONZE medal in the Individual Pursuit at the 2020 ParaCycling Track World Championships in Canada today!  Ronan set a PB in qualifying but went even better in the bronze medal ride clocking 4:43.806 and averaging 50.739kph

  • Lucky Leinster Ladies and Lads

    One set of results which fell through the cracks, but absolutely deserves to be highlighted and showcased are the recent Orwell performances at the Leinster Track Champs. Before heading off to the Worlds, Orla Hendron achieved double silver, but was outdone by Naoise Sheridan who won both silver and gold! Sean Murnane also featured, taking home double bronze!     The Orwell trackies of Daniel McElroy, David Swift and Conor Murnane were out in Sundrive competing in the Duane Delaney Memorial on Saturday, but it was Seán Murnane who took the overall honours! He shares his experience of the day below, with a few additions from McElroy.

    It's been a busy start to the season for our track cyclists! The Spring league came to an end this week with the prize giving and on Saturday all eyes were on the track for the National Omnium Championships where our own Valdis Andersons came home with a shiny silver medal! Thanks to Valdis for taking the time to put this report together for us....

  • Triumph at the Track

    The Sundrive Summer Track League finished up recently, and our own Andrew Ryan, Uisneach Sheridan and David Swift all picked up silverware in the final standings. Orwell also finished 2nd in the club standings - details below!

  • Underage update

    While the Seniors are having a very strong season our underage riders are keeping pace and very often setting the bar high early in the day.

  • Vittoria for Marconi and the Matriarchal Medallists!

    On the women's open scene, Monica Marconi scored an emphatic victory in Wexford for the final round of the National League, while Ciara Kinch came home a fine 5th. Kinch then went on to notch up Gold in the Leinster Hill Climb Champs, with Aideen Keenan in silver a mere 7" behind her. And Orla Hendron displayed rude form at the Track Champs to take home two national medals, while Rachel Glendon also won silver in the National Middle Distance Triathlon Champs.

  • Youth Intro to Track

    Bray Wheelers are running a Youth Track Camp starting with accreditation this weekend, and running over the mid-term break at the end of October. It's designed for anyone who hasn't done the track ever before, so if you've thought about it, head along! Details below.
