A month ago today, the Giro d'Italia came to Ireland, with the Grande Partenza taking place in Belfast, and a sprint finish in Dublin. Orwell were all over the race, and we've included three tales below - thanks to Aideen Collard, Ivan O'Brien, and Brian McArdle.

The May bank holiday weekend saw another very successful running of the Orwell Randonnée, and once more members of the organising committee met recent with our chosen charity, the Ross Nugent Foundation, to present the proceeds.

Colm Featherstone was one of the many Orwells who migrated to Waterford for the popular Sean Kelly Tour, including many of the white group who have spent the year traversing the country on various leisure cycles. The ran the gauntlet of lashing rain and dizzying climbs in Dungarvan, but survived to tell the tale! Read on!
