Just when you think the season is over, Eamonn Eaton makes another foray into the world of leisure cycling - this time to Bray and the Joe Loughman. Take a read of his account of the day below!

A weekend with something for everybody in it. A very large contingent turned out to support the Joe Daly Memorial Cycle in aid of Simpsons hospital while others opted to test themselves against the Dragon in Enniscorthy and yet others still haven't had enough of the Wicklow Peaks.

A weekend of great weather for cycling meant plenty of miles in the legs for leisure riders. Below we bring you two accounts, first Kevin Connaire takes us through the Sligo Champions Sportive, and then Eamonn Eaton describes the Tour de Foothills, where Orwell riders made up about 10% of the total turnout!

A month ago today, the Giro d'Italia came to Ireland, with the Grande Partenza taking place in Belfast, and a sprint finish in Dublin. Orwell were all over the race, and we've included three tales below - thanks to Aideen Collard, Ivan O'Brien, and Brian McArdle.

Eamonn Eaton and a merry band of Orwells braved the conditions of the first ever Giro d'Italia Gran Fondo, and wrote a short and sweet account of the day.
